I worked with Adam for around 4 months to get some help to lose weight to improve my cycling. I have been hugely impressed with the service Adam provides, in the past 4 months I have lost almost 15pc of my bodyweight and achieved PB’s on almost every strava segment I was interested in. His weekly calls are a great focus tool and really help with motivation and I was able to message Adam at any point to check things or to ask any questions I had. Over the January 21 lockdown, Adam was programming me 3 home workouts a week to help me get back to the gym and I think it really helped once the gym re-opened. If you want to improve any sport but cycling in particular, I would recommend Adam to anyone.
Working with Rachel has been absolutely amazing. Rachel first came to me to help her improve her running by losing weight and conditioning her body for the demands of the sport.
We got to work on both of these things and with some manipulation of her food/alcohol intake, we dropped the weight.
In the gym, we built up her impact resistance and muscular strength.
Rachel went on to complete the London, Brighton and Paris marathon before attempting and completing a 100km coastal ultra-marathon (pictured).
It was a pleasure working with Rachel and a journey I am very happy to have been a part of.
As an active outdoors person, I couldn't have found a more ideal personal trainer than Adam. He shares a love of the outdoors, including mountain biking. That's one of a few areas that I really wanted to work on from a fitness perspective. He takes a full-body approach, uniquely tailored to your goals. He's incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of health and fitness, helping me to dial my nutrition in to make the most of my training. I've suffered a few injuries during my time with him and he's managed to keep me training through personalised one-on-one remedial work. A little over 6 months down the line and I feel faster and stronger than I could have hoped. I'm also down 9kg. Standards remain as high as they ever have. Training plans are varied and interesting, so I never get bored in a session. He's always quick to respond but will never interrupt a session to do so - if you've booked time with him, he's 100% focused during that period. Work, sleep, nutrition, stress or any other subject, he's there to offer advice to keep you in the best possible headspace. My partner is now training with him using his new online Outdoor Athlete programme; she's as happy as I am. If you're after a PT then you've found him. Adam rocks 👍
After meeting Adam through our passion for cycling and been a regular gym member he has helped me on numerous occasions.
Weather this be through overcoming depression, injuries, diet and training advice Adam Is always there to help me through even checking in on me when he knows I'm not myself been having mountain bike related sessions with him now for 2 years from struggling to get 10 mile rides to doing my biggest ride of 35 miles 6 months in.
